"Daniella Lugassy was a tempting and sexy Musetta. Anyone who followed her career in recent years wasn't surprised."
Habama, July 2011
"Daniella Lugassy almost steals the show, as expected, with the role of Musetta. Her apearance fits the part perfectly and her magnetic physical presence is completed with a clear and bright soprano"
Tav-Et, July 2011
The Barber of Seville / The Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Roberto Abbado (Berta)
Daniella on the cover of Billboard Magazine, January 2011.
"Daniella Lugassy , a total Israeli product , was Berta . I have already said that she has stolen
the female role . Daniella is blessed with the humor and physique of a comedienne and she is doubly blessed with a golden voice that seems to be able to follow and surmount all the difficult scales Rossini hands to his female ( and male ) singers."
PerformArts, January 2011
"Daniella Lugassy performed the aria of Berta the maid, where she describes the chaos in her master's house and threatens to lose her mind. Later that evening, while searching online, I failed to find a better performance of this aria. The repetitive "Si! Si!" in the aria was wonderfully sung by her."
Mouse Online, January 2011
Pique Dame / The Israeli Opera (Prilepa)
"A pleasant surprise was Daniella Lugassy, whose lightly flowing, flexible, appealing soprano and discreet, refreshing sense of humor were perfectly suited to the role of Prilepa. One would have liked to hear her in a somewhat more significant role."
The Jerusalem Post, June 2010

HAYDN- MISSA SANTI NICOLAI AND LORD NELSSON MASS
"Daniella Lugassy was remarkable in both masses.... with a radiant soprano voice."
"Ha'aretz" 12 November 2009
"The singer receiving justifiably the most appreciation , was soprano Daniella Lugassy, that easily led the soloists, not only because of the selection of arias she dealt with, but also because of mature and rich singing, as a soloist as well as a partner in the different ensembles. It won't be a risk to say that we will hear much more of her in the future."
Habama, 15 November 2009
"Last week when I listened to this piece at the Israeli Camerata Concert, with the soprano Daniella Lugassy, the entrance immediately produced the effect I was waiting for, and from there on it was obvious that this young Israeli singer, not too long ago a student, is passing over the demanding hurdles easily and gives the intire execution an addictive glow – in both the solo and ensemble parts."
"Ha'aretz" 16 November 2009
"Daniella Lugassy was very impressive vocally and dramatically, especially in the high notes."
Globes Magazine , 16 November 2009

LE NOZZE DI FIGARO (SUSANNA)
"It is now final - Daniella Lugassy is the Israeli Anna Netrebko. The most outstanding performer was the soprano singer Daniella Lugassy in the demanding part of Susanna.
This isn't the first time that Lugassy has received compliments in my column, but this time she was phenomenal, she has it all, a wonderful steady voice, charisma, presence that is full of grace and nuances, wonderful diction, and most importantly an inner musicality that radiates from her. For example, in her grand aria in The Fourth Act she managed to move me where other singers left me indifferent.
On her current level Lugassy can perform in leading opera houses all over the world and as it seems she is on her way there. She very much reminds me of Anna Netrebko, the Russian singer that is dazzling the international opera world; they both look great, they sing wonderfully and can move the audience through their singing and acting".
DIE ZAUBERFLOTE (PAMINA)
"The discovery of the year in the field of classical music is Daniella Lugassy, a young and remarkable soprano singer.
Her stage début was on May 2007 in the school production for The Magic Flute. She sang the part of the Princess Pamina, and overshadowed the other participants on nearly each and every level.
As I wrote in the criticism on that opera: She has what it takes to be an opera star: dashing looks, a beautiful steady voice, and charisma.
Since then she has performed several small parts in the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra too, and undoubtedly we'll hear about her a lot more".
Globes, December 2007
"The grand discovery of this production is the singing and acting of Princess Pamina that was played by the wonderful soprano singer Daniella Lugassy."
Ma'ariv, May 2007
"There's something very heart-warming in that genre of productions, which present those who could be the grand names of the classical music world in the near future.
.... In the astonishing category was one undoubted star - Daniella Lugassy (in the roll of Pamina). Lugassy has what it takes to be an opera star: dashing looks, a beautiful steady voice, and charisma...."
Globes , May 2007
